The Fingerlakes Pagan Pride 2007 Thankgiving Tree
The Thanksgiving Tree is a physical 3-D art project painted by Jannelle Olmstead of SomeThing Else Studio to emphasize community support and fellowship within the Pagan community. It conveys the idea that we are all linked as a family regardless of our individual cultures or faiths. The Tree was integrated into the annual Finger Lakes Pagan Pride Festival in 2005. As donations were received by patrons, they will be given a paper apple to write what they were thankful for. The apples were then affixed to the Thanksgiving Tree for all to view. The results will be posted to the Fingerlakes Pagan Pride site at the conclusion of the festival.
