"Introduction to Paganism"

In the Pagan Pride Day tradition of service to the community, Oracle will provide a introductory look at Paganism directed to the non-pagan or uninitiated. This workshop is primarily interactive allowing for all in audience to have all questions regarding Paganism answered. The goal is to dispel half truths, urban legend, and all misconceptions regarding Paganism and Pagans. This workshop will continue throughout the day and not be limited to a 1 hour timeslot.

"Norse Traditions"

An in-depth look at the traditions which comprise the Pagan path of the Norse Tradition. Discover the rich traditional practices, tools of practice, and rituals. Discover the Norse Pantheon and its history from Bob Hamlin, a long time practioner in the service to the pagan community for over 20 years being a celebrated Pagan activist for NYSPA, PEN of NY, and Pagan Pride Day. Bob brings a unique and well informed perspective on Norse Traditional Practices.

"Chlidren's Art Workshop"

This year's festival features the "What are you thankful for ..." clothes line art show. The art show is open to children 1 to 21 years of age. Children are asked to draw what they are thankful for and share this with the community. Since this is an outdoor show, art pieces in inexpensive mediums such as crayon, oil pastel, on any kind of paper are encouraged.

The workshop provides all children which participate in the festival the opportunity for any late entries to be constructed, readied, and finalized for display at the art show.

"Pagan Morality"

What are the moral questions facing the Pagan community? Do our moral dilemas differ from other religous paths? Three Fold Law and The Wiccan Creed are discussed in the background of daily life as a pagan in a community where Pagan belefs may not be well understood. Reannag Moon, founder of the Pagan Church of the Sacred Pentacle, discusses morality for Pagans.

In this workshop, we'll learn the various phases of the moon and how to observe and honor them in order to manifest greater harmony and balance in our lives. We'll also learn to harness that incredibly powerful lunar energy in order to work a little Moon Magick! Note-taking materials provided. Let's learn to ride the moon's wave, together!
